In some aspects, Spanish uses infinitives in sentences the same way as English. Those similar usages are what you will learn in your first two years of Spanish. There are certain verbs that can be followed by an infinitive. You can create simple two‐verb sentences in both languages by conjugating the first verb to go with the subject and simply placing the infinitive after the conjugated verb.
